Did you ever hear about something called "Earth Hour"? If you didn't then please take you time and contine reading this post
What is Earth Hour??-> Earth Hour is when everyone on our planet turns off all their lights from 8:30 p.m to 9:30 p.m
Why should we participate-> Everyone should take part of this special event because you'll be saving energy and electricity. We we be saving our planet because electricity is a part of global warming. And we only do this once a year.
When does it start->This event will be starting on March 28, 2009 @8:30 to 9:30.
One day my mom watching the news. My mom told us that they were starting something called "Earth Hour" We all agreed that we were going to take part. When it was about 8:25, we started to take off all of our lights and unplugged most of our things. When it was exactly 9:30, my mom and dad started telling stories about when they were small and other stories. When they were done my sister and I started to tell scary stories ( which made me really scared )!!!
Things you can do during Earth Hour:
- Tell scary stories in the dark
- Talk to your friends on your cell phone
- Play board games
- Play "Hide And Go Seek"
- Spend more time with your family
- Watch the stars in the sky
